Einstein provides a variety of fellowships for research, global health, and other enriching experiences listed below. Students may apply for fellowships or other programs that are not listed, but must be approved by Dr. Jessica Rieder

Einstein Research Fellowship

$1,075 per month stipend for up to 12 months of mentor-guided research during a gap year, typically between your clerkship year and fourth year.
The research project leads to an original research paper and serves as the Scholarly Paper required of all Einstein students.
Students are encouraged to work with the best possible mentor for them, whether that be a Einstein/Montefiore mentors or a mentor at another institution, including outside of the United States.

Students who are in good standing are eligible to apply.
The first round of applications are due February 15. Applicants will be notified on or before April 1. Thereafter, we will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis until funding runs out.
